November 5 (We are using our SNOW date!) - Halloween Spectacular
Time: 12 p.m. - 4 p.m.
Music and games: 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. with SC3 Entertainment
Costume Parade and Prizes: 1 p.m. (Register)
Trick-or-Treat Stations: 12 p.m. - 2 p.m. (Register)
Pumpkin Carving Contest: Begins at 2 p.m. Bring your pumpkin (and your tools - or we'll have some for purchase) (Register)
Pumpkin Illumination begins at sunset.

Farm Group Tours
Available from May - September
Farm Group Tours include a planting project that everyone takes home, an educational lesson on a specific plant, an interactive tractor hayride tour of the farm, time with our farm animals and a tasty snack!*
Strawberry Picking Group Tours
Available in June
Strawberry Picking Group Tours include Strawberry Picking (everyone is given a pint container to fill!), an educational lesson on strawberries, an interactive tractor hayride tour of the farm, time with our farm animals and a tasty snack!*
Pumpkin Picking Group Tours
Available from late September - October
Pumpkin Picking Group Tours include pumpkin picking (everyone takes home a pumpkin), an educational lesson on pumpkins, an interactive tractor hayride tour of the farm, time with our farm animals and an apple and some fresh apple cider to enjoy for a snack!*

Specialized Group Tours

Does your group desire a different type of tour of Donaldson Farms? Perhaps the above tours don’t meet your group’s special needs. Feel free to call us, explain your circumstances and we will create a program that is ideal for your age group and learning needs!

Private Parties
Donaldson Farms is available for an array of private parties. Contact us and tell us what you are looking for and we’ll help you create an event that your guests will remember for years to come!
Children’s Birthday Parties
What a treat! Your child will love inviting their friends to the farm for their special day! Farm Birthday Parties are perfect for groups of friends from school and/or parties for the entire family. All age groups will have a ball!
- We’ll help you create the perfect party for your child’s age group and interest.
- We can make the party educational and fun with stories and lessons about the farm, what we grow, what kinds of animals we have and how the farm works.
- Depending on the season, we’ll pick strawberries, pick pumpkins or create a planting project for each child to bring home.
- We’ll take an interactive hayride tour of the farm and of course, your child is the guest of honor on the wagon!
- You are welcome to bring your own food and drinks or we’ll organize the food for you.
- We have party additions that you may choose from…pony rides, face painting, clown shows, science shows, musical guests, craft projects, goody bags and more!
- We promise that you’ll be just as thrilled with the party as your child will be! Sit back, enjoy the day and let our farm party hostess do the work!
Corporate Events
Do your employees deserve a special day? Do you want to treat your clients and their families to something unique? Donaldson Farms is available for your organization’s yearly picnic or other special gathering. Give us a call, tell us what you are interested in and we’ll create a unique event that’s just right for your group!

Spend a week with your friends at Donaldson Farms! Farm education, games, planting and harvesting projects, arts and crafts, cooking projects, nature activities and of course acres and acres of fun!
Your children will have a great time while learning all about farming! (We bet they’ll even sample a fruit and veggie that they won't try at home!)

Fundraising
Healthy Fundraisers
Are you tired of selling chocolate and wrapping paper? Is your school or group local to the Hackettstown area? Do your families, friends and neighbors buy fruits, vegetables and other seasonal items? You might want to consider adding a Farm Market Fundraiser to your list this year! It is so simple…you’ll wish you did it sooner!
How does our healthy fundraiser work?
- We help you select a specific time period for your fundraiser.
- We supply your group with flyers (specific to your group) and you distribute them to family, friends and neighbors that you know in the community.
- Your group comes to the Farm Market on their specified days and shops for healthy fruits and vegetables (which they’ll be buying that week anyway!). They’ll hand in their flyer when they checkout at the register.
- Our friendly cashiers will write the total amount of their sale on the flyer and at the end of the fundraiser we’ll calculate the total sales for your group.
- We then write your group a check for 20% of the final sales figure (excluding tax)!
This is our special way of giving back to our wonderful friends and neighbors in the Hackettstown area!
